Dr. Michael Steinle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University and from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School. Upon completing a General Practice Residency at the East Orange VAMC, he entered the United States Navy.



He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA and has been stationed around the globe, including a deployment on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Site Director, the Department Head, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda and the Oral Surgery Specialty Leader to the Navys Surgeon General.

Dr. Steinle practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with an emphasis on pediatric and geriatric anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, bone augmentation, implants and reconstruction.

He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the International College of Dentists. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He also maintains an active membership in the American Dental Association.

Dr. Steinle is married to Dr. Patricia Tordik, a Captain in the United States Navy and board certified endodontist.
