Dr. Ostler earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California in 2004, and then pursued further education in the field of dentistry. During dental school he researched materials used for periradicular surgery, and in 2008 received his dental degree from the USC School of Dentistry.  Dr. Ostler then completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2009. 



He went on to complete a four year residency training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY.  During his residency Dr. Ostler coauthored the chapter “Oral & Maxillofacial Regional Anesthesia” in the Textbook of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain.  Dr. Ostler is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and advanced trauma life support.
