Meet Dr. Barry D. Elbaum

Dr. Barry Elbaum founded the practice and has been caring for area families for more than 46 years.  He currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Monmouth Medical Center, where he has been Chairman for the past thirty years.  He is a Fellow member of the American and International Societies of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

As Director of the Dental Department from Monmouth Medical Center, he was the recipient of the Pinnacle Award for the Hospital, the highest honor to be bestowed on a member of the Medical-Dental staff. Dr. Elbaum founded the Dental Education program at Monmouth Medical Center.

In addition to being a senior attending at Monmouth Medical Center, Dr. Elbaum is a Senior Attending at both Jersey Shore University Hospital and Centre State Medical Center.  He was a former section Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at all three Hospitals. Dr. Elbaum professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Monmouth-Ocean Dental Society, where he was a former President.
